Jeremiah North - President
Known throughout the community as “Coach,” Jeremiah North has dedicated more than twenty-five years to community service, fundraising, and organizing events that bring people together across the Downriver region. His passion for helping others and creating opportunities for residents has made him a respected leader and advocate for community engagement.
Throughout his career, Jeremiah has been recognized by United States Steel, the City of Flat Rock, and Rotary International for his commitment to public service and his contributions to community development. His leadership has helped support numerous charitable initiatives, local events, and programs that have positively impacted families throughout the region.
As Founder and President of Dedicated to Downriver, Jeremiah provides the vision and direction that drives the organization forward. His goal is to build strong partnerships, expand community involvement, and create sustainable opportunities that strengthen Downriver for future generations. Through his leadership, Dedicated to Downriver continues to grow as a trusted resource dedicated to community-focused initiatives and lasting positive change.
Tim Weinschenker - Secretary
Tim Weinschenker brings more than forty years of professional leadership, management, and organizational experience to Dedicated to Downriver. Recently ordained as a pastor, Tim combines business expertise with a deep commitment to service, community outreach, and helping others achieve success.
Beginning his career as a management trainee with United States Steel Corporation, Tim steadily advanced through positions of increasing responsibility before retiring in 2020. Throughout his career, he developed extensive experience in project planning, team leadership, operations management, and strategic decision-making—skills that now play a vital role in supporting the mission of Dedicated to Downriver.
As Secretary of the organization, Tim helps guide planning efforts, organizational development, and community initiatives. His thoughtful leadership and commitment to integrity ensure that Dedicated to Downriver continues to operate with purpose, accountability, and a focus on delivering meaningful benefits to the communities it serves.
Albert Frond Jr. - Treasurer
Albert Frond Jr. represents a new generation of community leadership while maintaining a strong commitment to public service and civic engagement. A lifelong resident and elected City Councilman in Flat Rock, Albert is passionate about strengthening local communities and creating opportunities that improve the lives of residents throughout the Downriver area.
Known for his problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and forward-thinking approach, Albert brings valuable skills and fresh perspectives to Dedicated to Downriver. His experience in public service has provided him with a strong understanding of community needs, local government operations, and the importance of building collaborative partnerships that benefit residents.
As Treasurer, Albert oversees the financial stewardship of the organization and works to ensure resources are managed responsibly and effectively. His dedication to transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability helps position Dedicated to Downriver for continued growth and success.
