Enjoy a afternoon of sun and fun at the 1st annual Operation Veterans Six Golf Outing on October 17, 2026. This event will benefit Downriver Veterans Charity organizations such as Victory Gym, Miller-Strawn Hall VFW, Motown Women’s Veterans Association and The Chelsea Project.

Fiorelli’s will be hosting the Kids Christmas Event on December 9, 2026. Bring your friends and family to celebrate the holiday season and have a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy refreshments, hot cocoa from Biggby Coffee and the children will receive a gift to take home.

Known across the Downriver region as “Coach,” Jeremiah North has spent over 25 years organizing community events, fundraising, and leading public service initiatives. As the Founder and President of Dedicated to Downriver, he channels this lifelong passion into building strong partnerships and creating lasting, positive change for local families.

SECRETARY

With over 40 years of professional management experience at U.S. Steel and recent ordination as a pastor, Tim Weinschenker seamlessly combines business expertise with a deep commitment to community outreach. As Secretary of Dedicated to Downriver, he utilizes his background in strategic decision-making and leadership to ensure the organization operates with purpose, integrity, and accountability.

TREASURER

As a lifelong resident and elected City Councilman in Flat Rock, Albert Frond Jr. brings a forward-thinking approach and a strong background in public service to the Downriver region. Serving as Treasurer for Dedicated to Downriver, he combines his technical expertise and commitment to community needs to ensure financial transparency, accountability, and long-term organizational growth.
